Oh my goodness...that was the most awesome week of my whole life!! Katherine doesn't want me to go into any detail yet, but i'll just say that the teaching was some of the best i've ever heard...especially Steve Camp. He was truly amazing...and i got to meet him! it was so cool...i was trying to find the picture of all the girls in our group with Steve Camp to put on here, but i couldn't find it. I learned more in those 3 1/2 days than i would other times in a whole month! I am so looking forward to going again next year (hopefully).
Another cool thing was the music. The camp band ("J. J. Stupote" - don't ask) was incredible. We sang lots of songs, old and new. It sounded awesome because everyone sang out. I could sing as loud as I wanted without feeling like i was singing a solo (like i sometimes do in my church).
I also met some really cool people. I got reaquainted with the leader of our group, Mrs. Anita Nicewander and I met my roommate, Andrea, and her sister Stephanie who were both really fun to hang around with, and also Michelle Gifford who i heard a lot about but never met before. I also met the guys in our group, like James (the guy who looks like Edmund). He made us laugh so much and sometimes hung around with us during free time, but he can be weird sometimes. The others were Chris King, Levi (James' bro), and Stephen. We have pics of everybody to show you.
The ONLY unenjoyable thing about camp was (obviously) the food. We had this cheesy chicken noodle stuff that we affectionately named "Chicken barf" (we have pictures). there was also some disgusting hashbrowns that was the main ingredient in almost all the foods. It tasted like they made the french fries, potato balls, AND mashed potatoes out of the same hashbrowns. it was NASTY. But the good thing is we had ice cream every day after both lunch & dinner. yummy...
well, that was a few highlighs of my wonderful week at SBFYC (Saved By Faith Youth Challenge)...i'll have more later!

wow that sounds GRATE! and the food was that bad!?!?! well, maybe i should be the cook at my camp.... i can cook pretty well if i say so myself
yeah but that would be hard cooking for ALL THOSE PEOPLE...
oh and you totally left out Chris Campbell and Katherine Haines.
but you did give away a few too many details... but oh well i can't change it now.

I thought about putting in stuff about Chris and Katherine, but i was just talking about the people in our group...i was trying not to give away TMI, you know...
okay, i'll have compassion on those poor people who had to cook for 3 camps at once...i admit.
why don't you want her to talk about it?
Because i didn't want christina to hear too much about camp until she actually came over and saw the pictures and we could tell her allll about it. now emily can talk about it all she wants cuz christina just saw the pics... plus she's makin a letter for you beth with EVERY SINGLE LITTLE DETAIL you could ever imagine!! i'd better read it to make sure it's accurate. :)

yah i said i was sorry already. read your e-mail. i lost the paper with her b-day on it and thought it was the 17th of this month! *blush*
