so i guess everybody already knows the big news by now...yup...i still can't really believe it! when my dad found out, he wanted to tell each of us individually but he was at work, so he got each of us on the phone one at a time to tell us:
Katherine: "REALLY?!?!?!?!"
Me: *jaw drop*
Abby: drop the phone, lay face down on the bed


haha...anywho, katelynn's party was really fun...we each got cool hawaiian leis to wear. we played the limbo (that's actually jamaican, but that's okay), and we played a game where you have to unwrap a present that's wrapped 7 times with mittens on. for the sleepover part, we started doing a molly mystery play thing but katelynn got bored of it by the 4th page. :-P then christina and i played ping-pong with jacob (jacob and i were violent...hehe). then we played Ms. Pac-man, then we watched most of Narnia before Aslan roared really loud and woke up katelynn so then we turned it off. but then katelynn was wide awake so she and i talked till 1:00 (christina was asleep) about the strange things that dogs do (don't ask me why). then i slept most of the night with katelynn's big dog Molly right next to me. in the morning, we had cinnomon rolls and just did whatever. then we went to katelynn's ice skating competition but we had to leave before we got to see her skate. :-( however, she won gold!! i'm so happy for her.

i guess that's the general summary of the party...i hope it's not too confusing --
